The way you carry yourself, the words you choose, even the things you don't say. They're all contributing to the impression you leave behind.
I teach professionals and students how to become more aware of those signals, understand what different situations call for, and develop the practical skills to show up with greater confidence and intention.
You ever notice how some people seem to know exactly what to do in situations that leave others second-guessing themselves?
Maybe it's knowing how to work a room, speak up in a meeting, or build rapport with a client. Some people learned these skills early. Others picked them up through experience or mentorship. But not everyone gets the same exposure.
And then there's the other side of it: awareness.
You can be brilliant at what you do and still have no idea how you're coming across to the people around you. Your tone, your body language, the way you communicate. It all plays a part.
I spent more than a decade playing different people on stage and screen, and if there's one thing that experience taught me, it's that how we deliver something can matter just as much as what we're saying.
That's why I teach both. The practical skills that help us navigate different situations, and the awareness to recognize how we're showing up in them.
Because when you understand how you're coming across and know how to adjust, you spend less time second-guessing yourself and more time confidently going after the opportunities in front of you.
Here's the thing
Don't adapt to the energy in the room.
influence the energy
in the room.
You can be brilliant at your job and still struggle with the people part of it. From building client rapport to navigating workplace dynamics, that's where I come in.
No one wants another lecture on how to behave. Through reimagined theater games and hands-on activities, I make learning social skills something students actually enjoy.
New role at work? Hosting your first fancy dinner party? Or just tired of second-guessing yourself? Let's work on the skills that help you feel more comfortable being you.
hello there.
And I'm a professional over-thinker of why people do
what they do.
That curiosity ultimately led me to a career performing human behavior on stage and screen (aka acting). These days, it shapes my modern approach to teaching etiquette, communication and presence—with enough Bostonian skepticism to always question the status quo.
